Developing iRules for BIG-IP

Duration3 daysDeliveryVirtual or in personModules9

iRules is BIG-IP's event-driven scripting language, and it is where the platform becomes programmable, letting an engineer inspect and act on traffic in ways the configuration objects alone cannot. This course builds iRules skill from the ground up: the event model, the syntax, and the most useful commands for inspecting and manipulating traffic. Students learn to parse and modify HTTP, make routing and persistence decisions in code, work with data groups and variables, and write iRules that are correct and performant, with attention to the troubleshooting and tuning that real iRules development requires.
