Configuring BIG-IP LTM
Local Traffic Manager
About this course
Local Traffic Manager is the load-balancing and traffic-management heart of BIG-IP, and this course builds a working command of it, from commonly used features through more advanced functionality. Students learn to configure virtual servers, pools, and load-balancing methods; tune application health monitoring; and apply persistence appropriately across its several types. The advanced portion covers options like VLAN tagging and trunking, SNMP, packet filters, and route domains, along with customizing delivery using iRules and local traffic policies, and mitigating common network- and application-layer attacks with LTM features.
First step toward the F5 Certified Technology Specialist, LTM track.
