About this course
Advanced Firewall Manager adds a high-performance, data-center-grade network firewall to BIG-IP, built to protect the network layer in front of applications. This course covers configuring AFM firewall rules and policies, the order in which they are evaluated, and how AFM integrates with LTM's traffic-processing objects. It addresses network-layer DoS and DDoS protection, IP intelligence, and logging and reporting, building the skill to defend the network perimeter of an application delivery environment.
