TamoSoft - TamoGraph

A privately held Christchurch company whose TamoGraph does passive, active and predictive Wi-Fi surveys on Windows and macOS.

TamoSoft Ltd is a privately held company founded in 1998 with headquarters in Christchurch, New Zealand, serving customers from over 100 countries. Its catalogue, in its own description, is a wireless site survey and RF modelling tool, a network monitor and packet analyser for wired networks, another for wireless 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be networks, a design and planning tool for 4G LTE and 5G NR private cellular networks, and a utility for testing network performance.

TamoGraph Site Survey is the product most field engineers know the company by: Wi-Fi planning and site survey software for creating and maintaining reliable networks, with passive, active and predictive surveys (RF modelling), full support of 802.11be (Wi-Fi 7), 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6 and 6E) and 802.11ac as well as the legacy standards, available for Windows 10, 11 and Server 2016 to 2022 and for macOS from Monterey to Tahoe.

It sits on this record beside Ekahau and the MetaGeek tools as one of the three ways the trade answers the same question - will the Wi-Fi work in this building before anybody installs it - and as the one that stayed independent. The company does not publish a history page, so the entry says what its own site says and no more.
