Vendor lineage

Security4IT

Partner named for both Netskope and Check Point in Brazil.

A Brazilian security integrator appearing on two vendor rosters. The pattern across this part of the channel is that the same handful of houses carry several security vendors at once, because the skills transfer and the customers overlap - which also means a customer changing vendor frequently keeps the same people.

Security4IT was founded in Sao Paulo on 8 February 2008 and is run by three named administrators - Cassio David Pereira, Fabio Maeji Amaro and Rodrigo Cavalcante de Souza. Its registered activity is the retail of computing equipment and supplies, which is the ordinary registry description for a house whose real business is integration: the classification follows the invoice, not the work.

It appears on three vendor rosters at once - Netskope, Check Point and Fortinet - which is the pattern across this part of the Brazilian channel. A handful of houses carry several security vendors simultaneously because the skills transfer and the customers overlap, and it means a customer changing vendor frequently keeps the same engineers. That continuity is worth more to the customer than the logo on the box, and it is the reason a partner relationship often outlasts the product decision that started it.

Founded in 2008, it belongs to the generation of Brazilian security firms that grew up alongside the shift from perimeter appliances to cloud-delivered controls, rather than having to survive it. That timing shows in which vendors it carries: two of the three are companies that did not exist as categories when the older integrators were founded.
