About this course
This course builds structured troubleshooting skill for ExtremeXOS / Switch Engine environments. Students learn a troubleshooting methodology and the toolkit available to network engineers and administrators: determining whether an issue is network-related, diagnosing the switch and the surrounding network with built-in tools, and resolving the problems most frequently encountered. It also covers collecting support data and opening a case with Extreme's support organization, so escalation is handled cleanly when needed. The skills are practiced hands-on in the lab.
