ExtremeSwitching: Installation and Configuration

Duration3 daysDeliveryVirtual or in personModules10

The first step in the ExtremeSwitching track, this course builds the core skills for installing and configuring ExtremeXOS / Switch Engine switches. It works through the Layer 2 mechanisms that underpin a switched network, VLANs, discovery protocols, loop prevention with Spanning Tree, and link redundancy with LAG and MLAG, then moves into Layer 3, covering static routing, virtual routers and VRFs, and gateway redundancy with VRRP. The knowledge is reinforced throughout with hands-on lab work on real equipment.

The entry point to the ExtremeSwitching Professional Program track.
