Stands for: Nullcon - India's flagship hacker conference, grown from the null community
India's flagship hacker conference, grown out of null - the country's largest open security community - and held on the beaches of Goa since 2010.
null (styled n|u) is a registered not-for-profit and India's largest active security community, with chapters across Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, and beyond, built on free monthly meets and open exchange of research. Nullcon is its conference arm - run and marketed by Payatu - and it scaled the community's ethos into an international event: hardcore technical talks, trainings, a hardware village, and the Goa setting that became part of the brand (a Berlin edition extends the season). Its rise tracks India's rise in the global security industry, and for the subcontinent's researchers it is the home main stage.
