Zscaler Digital Experience: endpoint-to-application experience monitoring riding the same vantage points as the brokered data path.

Device, network, and app health measured from where the traffic actually flows.

ZDX measures what a user actually experiences rather than what the infrastructure reports, which addresses the oldest complaint in operations: every dashboard is green and the application is slow. It does that by measuring from the endpoint, along the real path, to the real application.

The value is in decomposition. When a session is bad, the useful question is which segment is responsible, and the candidates are the device itself, the local network, the path to the security edge, the internet in between, and the application. Measurement from the endpoint can separate those, which turns an argument between teams into a location, and that is usually the entire content of the escalation.

The honest caveat is that this is telemetry, not omniscience. Scores are composites, and a composite can hide a single dreadful component inside an acceptable average, so the score is a starting point for investigation rather than a verdict. Endpoint measurement also means device conditions, a saturated laptop or an overloaded wireless adapter, register as network problems until someone looks closely. Reading the components rather than the number is the skill worth having.
