A Brazilian network and security house that grew outward: Brazil, the United States, Portugal.
TDec Network Group works out of São Paulo and traces to TDEC Informática Ltda., a company registered in Cotia on 6 March 1992 and later trading as The Network Group. Its own site brands itself “est. 1993” while describing more than thirty years in the business - a one-year discrepancy the company has never reconciled, and one worth leaving visible rather than picking a side on. It operates across Brazil, the United States and Portugal in cybersecurity, corporate networking and global IT.
The founding entity is TDEC Informática Ltda. (CNPJ 67.521.195/0001-96), registered in Cotia in March 1992 - a registration address rather than a place of work, which is a distinction worth keeping in a Brazilian corporate record; a later company, TDec Redes de Computadores Ltda. (CNPJ 06.093.568/0001-80), was opened in January 2004 and is the active legal person associated with the group today. A 2004 registration is not a 2004 founding, and the two are kept apart here. The founder is José Valter “Junior” Távora de Castro.
