Vision Cybersecurity - a customer base sold on its own

The corporate arm of ISH Tecnologia, acquired by SPX in 2026 and merged with Tempest.

Vision Cybersecurity is a Brazilian security services company, formed from the corporate arm of ISH Tecnologia and acquired by SPX in 2026.

Vision Cybersecurity was the corporate arm of ISH Tecnologia, the security company from Espirito Santo, serving private business clients. SPX acquired it in January 2026, separating that customer base from its parent.

Its market position is the interesting part. Where Tempest sells to companies with revenue above a billion reais, Vision works with medium-sized businesses, and the two provide broadly similar services - vulnerability analysis across software, platforms, applications, chatbots and industrial systems, including retail and automotive.

The middle of the market is where security services are hardest to make profitable. Large accounts justify dedicated teams and small ones buy standard products; the companies in between need real assessment work at a price that does not support a bespoke engagement, which is why so few independents survive there and why this customer base was worth buying separately from the company that built it.

In 2026 Embraer and SPX announced the merger of Tempest and Vision into a single company with around seven hundred million reais of revenue - joining the large-account business and the mid-market one under one roof, which is the consolidation this segment has been heading towards for a decade.
