The founder whose idea the ISTS podcast was, and who spent months insisting the three of them record a pilot; co-founder of the YSTS conference that grew out of it.
The detail worth keeping is the insistence. The three worked in information security, lived in different cities - he in a different country - and had an affinity for the subject that sometimes converged and sometimes did not. Nothing about that arrangement produces a podcast without somebody pushing, and he pushed for months. Nearly twenty years of continuous recording, and one of the most selective conferences in Latin America, exist because of that.
