The general manager of CERT.br, Brazil's national incident response team, where she has worked on incident handling since 1999 - and the researcher most responsible for the country's honeypot measurement work and for helping new incident response teams get founded across Latin America.

She received M3AAWG's Mary Litynski Award in 2020 for work reducing online abuse, and in 2024 became the first Brazilian woman inducted into FIRST's Incident Response Hall of Fame, a list that also carries Dan Kaminsky. The through-line of her career is capacity building rather than headline findings: teams that did not exist, best practices that had no local text, and long-running measurement published openly - the unglamorous work that determines whether a country can respond at all.

Also known as: cert.br, mary litynski award, first hall of fame
