Two engagements Red Education published
Red Education publishes case studies of work delivered for named industries, and I am named in two of them. Summarised here in my own words, with each original linked — useful if you want to see what a large training engagement actually looks like before you commission one.
Fortinet at scale, for a global IT services firm
A multinational IT services company with more than 200,000 staff across sixty countries had won a large deal and did not have the certified Fortinet engineers to deliver it. Forty-three people went through FCP Fundamentals FortiGate Administrator, in mixed-experience groups. The training was the thing standing between a signed contract and a delivery team, which is a different kind of pressure from a scheduled public course.
“Your expertise, hard work, and commitment played a pivotal role in making this training a success.”— the client's project sponsor, writing to Nandagopal Siddegowda and meFortinet case study ↗
Developing iRules for BIG-IP, across two cities
A team of engineers split between Singapore and Hong Kong needed to write custom traffic-management logic on their own F5 estate rather than configure around it. Delivered as virtual instructor-led training so both locations sat in one classroom. iRules is the point where BIG-IP stops being a product you configure and becomes one you program, and it rewards being taught by somebody who has had to debug one in production.

What Red Education writes about
Red Education runs a blog on certifications, careers and the state of security training. Their index is drawn after the page loads, so only the featured article can be linked directly from here; the rest are behind the index link below. Read on 16 August 2026.
F5 Certification: career pathways and salary expectations
The featured article on the day this section was written, and relevant here: F5 is one of the platforms I teach. It walks through what the F5 certification track leads to in career terms and what the market pays for it — the question most students actually arrive with, and one a course outline never answers.
Read it on Red Education ↗The course explainers Red Education publishes
Red Education writes an explainer for each platform it trains on: what the courses cover, what they lead to, and how they fit a career. Ten are published, and these are all of them, ordered with the platforms I teach first. Worth reading before you choose a course, because they say more about outcomes than a course outline does.
- Netskope — a platform I teach
- Fortinet — a platform I teach
- Ping Identity — a platform I teach
- Zscaler — a platform I teach
- Cisco
- Check Point
- Palo Alto Networks
- CyberArk
- Nutanix
- Cyber security career paths
Read on 16 August 2026. Two of the platforms I am authorized on, F5 and Extreme Networks, have no explainer published at the time of reading; their vendor pages carry the course listings instead.
How the company says it works
Red Education publishes a culture statement, and these are the eight things it commits to. Summarised here in my own words; the original is linked below, and it is worth reading if you are considering working with them or for them.
- Diversity vision. Equal access to information, development and opportunity, stated as a business position rather than a policy annex: a company selling training across five regions has to understand the markets it teaches in.
- Recruitment. Equal-opportunity hiring judged on demonstrable experience and fit for the role, with the argument that a workforce drawn from many countries is what makes an international training business legible to its customers.
- Career development. Promotion on performance, with managers trained in evaluating fairly — the part that decides whether the rest of it is real.
- Community programmes. Named reporting procedures for discrimination and harassment, follow-up to prevent recurrence, and partnerships with community groups.
- Global markets. The claim that a workforce reflecting its customers serves them better, which for a company teaching in Asia Pacific, the Americas, Europe, India and the Middle East is an operational point rather than a sentiment.
- Diversity bodies. A committee of champions drawn from every level of the company, responsible for keeping the policy present in day-to-day decisions.
- Diversity practices. Training for all employees, flexible hours, education assistance, employee networks, parental and childcare support, and mentorship.
- Five ways to act on it. The statement ends with commitments rather than aspirations: integrate it into strategy, set measurable targets with dates, educate senior leadership, communicate it plainly, and make the business case understood throughout the organisation.
“No one said it would be easy. But it can be done”— Red Education, on putting the diversity statement into practice

A word of thanks
I began teaching through Red Education in 2021 and joined full-time as a Senior Instructor in 2023, which turned out to be one of the best professional decisions of my career. Behind every class I deliver stands an operations team spanning five regions that makes complex logistics look effortless, account managers who genuinely care about outcomes, and a standard of quality that pushes me to be better every single session. This page is my public thank-you to the people of Red Education, for trusting me with their classrooms and their students.
