NV7 Soluções Tecnológicas
Publishes its own security policies, which is rarer among security companies than it should be.
NV7 Soluções Tecnológicas is a São Paulo information-security integrator, working from the Torre Norte of the Centro Empresarial Nações Unidas on Avenida das Nações Unidas. Its practice is organised into four lines - data security, cloud security, endpoint and application security - built on a partner roster of Palo Alto Networks, F5, CrowdStrike, Forescout, Tenable, Fortinet, Netskope, Claroty and Tuvis.
The client roster reads as a cross-section of the Brazilian economy rather than a single sector: the B3 exchange, WEG, Honda, Eurofarma, Hypera, Unipar, Tramontina, Assaí, Iguatemi and Unimed alongside the digital businesses - OLX, Locaweb, Loggi, Movida, Neon, Pismo, Catho and Tembici. A security integrator serving both a motor manufacturer and a payments startup is solving the same problems with very different constraints on either side.
One practice sets it apart from most companies in its category. NV7 publishes its own information-security management documentation openly: an information classification standard, a malicious-code standard, a technical vulnerability management standard, operational procedures and responsibilities, a secure-areas standard, and its incident response policy. Most security firms describe what they would do for a client and say nothing about what they do for themselves.
That is a harder position to hold than it looks. Publishing your own controls invites the obvious question at every sales meeting - whether you meet them - and removes the option of a vague answer. It is also the only version of the argument that carries weight, because a security supplier asking a customer to accept a standard it will not describe for itself is asking for trust it has not offered.
The Claroty partnership marks a specific competence: operational technology and industrial control systems, which is a different discipline from enterprise security rather than an extension of it. The failure modes are physical, the equipment predates IP networking by decades, and the maintenance windows are measured in years. Its presence beside Forescout on the same roster points at asset visibility across an estate where nobody has a complete inventory.
The company also runs a Stock Car sponsorship and a podcast, and its commercial director Cássia Tavares has spoken at Gartner's security and risk conference on trust fatigue among security leaders - the argument being that constant verification and permanent suspicion are themselves a source of burnout in a profession that treats both as virtues.
