Telecomunicações de São Paulo: the Telebrás system's São Paulo fixed-line operator (1973-1998), successor to the CTB's São Paulo operations; acquired by Spain's Telefónica in the 1998 privatization, becoming Telefônica Brasil (the Vivo brand from 2012). Under Telefónica it launched São Paulo's ADSL broadband, Speedy, in 1999.
