Stands for: Sender Policy Framework

An email-authentication method declaring which servers may send for a domain.

Sender Policy Framework (RFC 7208) publishes, in a TXT record, the list of IPs allowed to send mail for a domain, so receivers can reject forgeries. It pairs with DKIM under DMARC.
