A method of passing information without the parties ever meeting.

Borrowed from spycraft, a digital dead drop leaves data in an agreed location for later pickup, decoupling sender and receiver in time. Named here for the concept only; the point is that separation in time defeats surveillance that watches for two parties meeting.
