Red Education training partner
Symantec
The security brand of a generation, now Broadcom's enterprise line.
Symantec was for decades the biggest name in security software, from Norton on the desktop to the enterprise endpoint, web, and data-protection suites that carried its yellow badge into every large IT estate.
Rodolfo does not deliver Symantec training. This is one of the vendor tracks taught by Red Education's instructor team, not part of his own authorized portfolio (F5, Fortinet, Netskope, Extreme Networks).
Symantec enterprise courseware remains in Red Education's Australasia, SAARC, and ASEAN catalogues, serving the substantial installed base of its endpoint and web-security platforms.
Founded in 1982, Symantec grew by acquisition into a security conglomerate before splitting itself: the enterprise security business was sold to Broadcom in November 2019, which retains the Symantec brand for it, while the consumer side became NortonLifeLock and, after merging with Avast, Gen Digital. It is one more lineage this site's industry pages trace: the name survives, the company that carried it does not.
