Vendor lineage

Niva

An integrator whose partner list is a map of this timeline.

Niva Tecnologia da Informação is a São Paulo integrator working across three lines: information security, electronic security and data centre.

The partner list is the most informative thing in the public record, and it is worth reading as a document rather than a roster: F5, Palo Alto Networks, NetApp, CrowdStrike, Forescout, Netskope, Citrix, Avigilon, Furukawa and Lenel. Six of those are network and security vendors; two are physical security; one is structured cabling; one is storage.

That combination describes a specific kind of company, and one this timeline has documented from every side except this one. An integrator carrying both information security and electronic security is selling into a building rather than into a network - firewalls and door controllers, network access control and cameras, on the same project, for the same customer, who has one budget and one set of contractors. The distinction between the two disciplines is much sharper in the vendor catalogues than it is on a construction site.

The Furukawa entry in that list is the tell. Structured cabling sits underneath both the security camera and the firewall, and the company that pulls the cable is well placed to sell what hangs off it - which is the same observation the Anixter entry makes from the distribution side, arriving here from the installation side.
