Vendor lineage

Soow Sigma

Partner named for Netskope in Brazil.

A Brazilian partner on the Netskope side. The cloud security channel in Brazil is younger than the networking one, and it shows in the names: houses built around software delivery and subscription rather than around hardware distribution, which is a different business with different economics.

The most interesting company on this list, because it is not what its current name suggests. Soow Sigma is the rebranded Sigma Telecom, which completed forty years in 2025 - so a house that started in telecommunications in the mid-1980s is now a strategic cybersecurity integrator. The company was careful to publish that the change of brand, trading name and corporate name left the CNPJ untouched, and with it every contract already signed, which is the practical half of a rebrand that nobody outside the finance department usually sees.

Its standing with vendors is unusually strong for a Brazilian house. Netskope lists it under the Service Delivery Specialization for Latin America and describes it as a strategic partner, which places it above an ordinary reseller relationship in that programme. Fortinet classifies it Expert Partner and named it 2025 Brazil Unified SASE Partner of the Year, on top of a Best Strategic Project award, 2025 recognition for sales in the South region and for specialisation, and nominations in the managed security services and operational technology categories.

The portfolio it describes spans cybersecurity, connectivity, customer experience and smart cities, which reads like a list until you notice it is the telecom inheritance being reused. Forty years of carrier and connectivity work is exactly the background that makes operational technology and municipal projects tractable, because those are network problems before they are security ones.

That trajectory is the reading worth keeping. The Brazilian security channel is often described as young, and parts of it are - but some of its strongest houses are old telecom companies that changed what they sell rather than start-ups that arrived with the category. The engineering culture came with them.
