CYLK - security integration, Sao Paulo
A Brazilian security integrator: the practice of making other people's products work together in somebody else's estate.
CYLK was founded in June 2010 as a systems-integration and managed-services company for networks, data centre and security, and belongs to Grupo IHC. It does not make products; it makes them work - today specialising in cybersecurity, governance, risk and compliance, privacy, awareness, penetration testing and assessments for Brazilian enterprises.
It is the third company of Grupo IHC, after HighCast (2003) and inLearn (2008). The group grew by each company creating the next out of demand the previous one had generated, rather than by acquisition.
The integrator's job is the one this site's Practice corpus is largely about: arriving at an estate somebody else designed, with vendors who each assume they are the only one present. CYLK also sits in the same group as InLearn - Grupo IHC, founded 2003, whose third company is HighCast - so the integration business and the training business grew up under one roof.
