Contacta - security across the layers, and a SOC
Brazilian security integrator running its own XDR-based security operations centre.
Contacta is a Brazilian information-security integrator covering cloud, endpoint, network and web security with governance and DevSecOps practices, and it runs its own security operations centre built on XDR.
An integrator that operates a SOC has crossed the same line as one that operates a NOC, and the crossing is harder in security: a network operations centre knows what normal looks like from the topology it built, while a security operations centre has to decide what is worth waking somebody for, which is a judgement rather than a threshold.
It is also why the SOC market consolidates around firms that already integrate. The detections are only as good as the knowledge of what was deployed and why, and that knowledge belongs to whoever put it there.
